New to Forum! And a question for die hard Cuda enthusiasts :)

Hello everyone!

I subscribed today because I am having a HELL of a time getting (and finding) an answer to this question:

What are the Mopar ORIGINAL/factory stripes that go on a 1970 Barricuda 426 Hemi?

I've been told it's one thing, then I get another that says that guy is wrong, and he doesn't know what he's talking about...

I would just like some clarity, as I'm restoring a '70 Cuda 426 to as original as I can get, and would like to know if anyone on here would be kind enough to help me, rather than give me the run around and flaming (like a few other forums I won't mention...) Seems from reading, that you have a good bunch of guys on here, so this is my final plea for help! Thank you!

I can't help with your question, but just wanted to say welcome!   I'm sure someone on here can answer your question.

It is commonly called a Hockey Stick stripe due to it's shape.  It is located on the quarter panels and it says HEMI.  Factory part numbers are 3444-890 and 3444-891. You could also have a stripe delete option of no stripes on a Hemi car.  Post some pics of your car. We would like to see it.

You are welcome.  Start a thread in the Newbe section and introduce yourself and your car.  BTW, in case you need a pic, the yellow Cuda at the top of the page has the Hockey Stick stripe.
