Hey, Have these come down in price at all ?  :money:       

A "little" since they first introduced them, but not much.  You can save the most money on piecing together, the remaining parts you need, such as injectors, module, fuel pump and filters, lines, etc.

When do you think that you will have it on the road?What about the motor itself is it stock or modified?How much cfm are you running.I know that they can tweak that depending on application.

It isn't cheap but its not that much more than a new six pack carb setup.  If I wasn't planning on an old school look for both the Barracuda and the Roadrunner I could actually see this setup on both of them.  Who knows, I've changed my mind before...

I'd be very interested on what kind of HP & TQ numbers these systems produce vs. standard carbs.

Jim,

I took my motor to the engine builder this weekend, and we will run it on the dyno when we are done.  We plan to run it with the EFI and a edlebrock intake and 950 CFM carb.  So we should have some real world numbers in five weeks or so.

This isn't done with the expectation of big horsepower and torque improvements, it's done for driveability improvement, to eliminate the need for constant tuning and adjustment and improved fuel efficiency.  Big HP and TQ boosts just aren't going to be a part of this.

Fantastic.  I understand the comments that EFI is more about driveability, but exactly the right air fuel ratio is bound to have positive effects on HP & TQ as well.  I look forward to hearing back from you soon!  Thanks.

The engine builder said we should only see a 15 - 20 HP increase with EFI.

I agree, that it's not about high HP, I am doing mine for driveability as MSJ73 said.

Nice! Looks much lower than the carb set up? Good for hood clearance?  Beautiful piece! almost a shame to put an air filter on it!  :grinyes:

Did the stock 6 bbl aircleaner fit without modification? ie. throat opening fit and spacing on the throttle bodies?

Ummmmm, nope.  :grinno:  you still need the control modual, fuel lines, pump filters, harness, and fuel injectors.  :grinyes:
