Cars in Barns... HUGE MOTHERLOAD FIND
« on: May 10, 2011 - 11:42:24 AM »
I was in Vermont for a job interview, my friend Art had told me of one guy out there that had a huge collection of Mopars.  So of course I had to find him.  And oh boy did I find him all right... SO MANY MOPARS!

DO NOT TELL WHERE AND WHO THIS GUY IS.  HE DOES NOT WANT TO HAVE HIS LOCATION PUBLISHED.  JUST THE PICTURES TO SHOW WHAT HE HAS.  IF YOU KNOW, DON'T SAY.

The story will be posted over 3 days at the link below, but here are a few pictures.  I took over 500 pictures, they are all also below.

thats a shame. That red 68 charger almost makes me cry!
What possesses people to "hoard" things like this?
A rational person would make some effort to either preserve or to sell.

Some folks feel that anything other than a numbers-matching, chalk-mark perfect resto is a "waste" of a antique car too....but look at what many of us here do.

I guess its all in the perspective.  The 74 fish made my ears (eyes) perk up...

And is that a 2 barrel manifold on that hemi engine?

That is an early (1950's) Hemi.  A lot of them came with a two barrel.  The rare thing in that pic is the a/c compressor.

Very cool pics, thanks for sharing Ryan.

Always cool to see a person's collection to see what taste they have.  Neat looking police car.

Thanks for sharing the pics, it's a bummer that there's some nice cars just rotting away!

I don't know... this looks very Barn..ish

Here is for my E-body friends.... two 70 Barracudas

And this I'm sorry to say... is a 1973 Cuda' 340 4-speed car.  And it still has the engine and transmission.

I had a picture of the shifter, but it didn't turn out.  Plenty of pictures of other stuff though!

i would love to have one of those demons!! i love the taillights!! the demon is a fairly rare beast.... also that 68 charger is another one of my faves definitely on the car to buy list! of course that is a long list and needing lottery type funding i don't see it happening. ryan you definitely have a knack for finding the cars.
