Installing passenger side view mirro on a 70 'cuda
« on: May 10, 2011 - 05:28:41 PM »
My 'cuda didn't come with a passenger side view mirror. So I'm installing one now.  Anyone have a picture of one installed on the passenger door?  And the right mersurements to where I should drill the holes to fasten the mirror?

The holes are the same place as the driver's side door.  Just measure how far down, and how far in they are.

Note the Passanger right mirror is larger than the driver left mirror.
The base are the same.

This was only on the 1970 Barracuda's and 1970 Challengers.

Both mirrors were larger on the 71 thru 74 models.

I can get you the Cuda measurments Wednesday if u want it exact.

MeK is correct.

On both my AAR and GC Convertible measuring from the edge of the door at the fender straight across to the center of the screw on base of mirror  it is 17 1/2 inches.
3/4 inch from top of door crown to front base screw.

good luck......
