Laurie my Challenger originally came from Las Vegas Nevada where it had a hard life. It was quickly repaired to make presentable but now all that will have to be undone and fixed properly. It is drivable but long term will only get worse until it comes off the road and the sins of the past are dealt with. It has a 318 auto at the moment but will get a mild 360 and manual trans as I intend to use it regularly and for cruising, I believe that our pride and joys should be driven and not just polished and looked at.

Hey! Seriously? its Meffa, not medfud. Though your diction is correct with Chelmsfud!
I miss Kelly's, great roast beef and seafood. You know they opened another store on route 1 south at the Fellsway exit. Remember the blizzard of '78? Everything is MA was closed - except Kellys on reveeyah beach.
I'm truly blessed to say I live on Cape Cod now. Where are you???

So cool to find so many other Massholes here!  :roflsmiley:

Yep, I remember the Blizzard of '78, I was 10 then.  I lived in Watertown at the time on Common St. the part with the hill and we used to watch the cars that couldn't climb the hill with rear wheel drive then made a U-turn right around our house.  I'm in Belmont now.

The Cape, eh?  Nice!  I'll be down Martha's Vinyud mid June for a week.  Saw a Panther Pink '72 Challenger there one time dressed up as a Challenger T/A but a had a 440 Six Pack under the hood.  Wicked neat car.  See some Shelby Cobras too.

Sorry, off topic, but have you ever been to Factory Five Racing for their open house in June?  Down in Wareham, on a nice day, there will be over 100 Cobras their with a mix of other cars and motorcycles.  Free barbeque, Scratch and Dent sale, etc....  I haven't been there in several years but see the updates on the website.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Pic #2 and 3 of my ARII 1/24 scale model car

Phil in New England-Massachusetts  Always thank God for what you have!

Ah, a man after my own heart! Best of luck with your work on this great car. Pics of the updates in process if possible?

Enjoy MV, great island. Heard a lot about the Cobra show, have a good friend that's really into them, I think he owns a couple. If I can go, I'd love to. But that Mopar show in CT in June is a higher priority!

Hi, and welcome. Personally I think I'd have to do the black one also, no reason just would. Just kidding, actually they both look nice. Pete

Is that the same black one that's consigned to Mecum?
Laurie?

By 'clone' you mean a '71 cuda (or a car built to look like one) with a hemi (probably a crate engine) stuffed into it?   For 95 large?  yeesh.....

Thank you Pete!
EVERYONE likes the black one better! But the blue one has the 'correct' steering wheel doesn't it?

Hey, that cudaworld sight with the classifieds was pretty cool. I like how you can advertise for a project car too. Assuming I can do that here too?

Prices were interesting.... that musclecars.com dealer, has anyone here done any business with them?

I ordered that Schild book as I was told, Amazon says it will be here this week, cool!
