    He got rid of both his Road Runners. He's got a Challenger now.

    It's a Road Runner scoop. He cut it out of the RR hood and grafted it into a flat Challenger hood. All the braces are there and welded in place. It's not just slapped on top of the hood or Mickey Moused in place.

    That RR hood looks pretty good and the craftmanship makes it look like the factory did it. I like it.

    I took a run out to Renee yesterday to drop off a few parts and see what he's been doing while he was waiting. I'm heading back out there today to pick up the Challenger that died as I was leaving. We got it fixed up, but I didn't want to drive a car with electrical gremlins at night.
    He's been doing a bunch of patchwork that needed doing and got the doors stripped down.
    He got the rear end of the car mocked up too.



    He told me that there was an inch of bondo on the door in places, and once he got it off it lined up a whole lots better than it used to.

     :22yikes: Wow! What happened to that door? It looks like it was used as a slingshot target. Have you considered a new skin? It might cost less than trying to get that one flat. Your project is coming along nicely. It's going to look great. Good job. :2thumbs:

    I ordered new skins for it and a few other bits and pieces at the same time. I might keep that skin and hang it on the wall. It looks like modern art to me.

    I'm curious if you had the filler totally stripped what type of dents they actually look like.
    Perhaps you can determine why it is the way it was dented like that all over the door.
