    1970 Superbird, V code 440 Sixpack column auto, numbers motor, non numbers trans. 52k miles, 5k miles or so on motor built by Best Machine. Original fendertag and 2 broadcast sheets. All original panels. 4th owner car, has owned since 97. Car runs and drives great, you may have seen it run at Pure Stock in the past. 1 exterior repaint about 10 years ago, all original panels, little rust at drivers heal, original trunk mat with some scale in trunk. Original nose in great shape. Perfect car to drive/enjoy and enjoy doing a little detail work on without getting into a full blown restoration.

    Car belongs to a friend, board member Rat Exterminator, just posting for him. Feel free to e mail me at psrde@aol.com with any questions and honest description. Car is near Grand Rapids MI and available to be seen/test driven.

    Those cars hold their value pretty good. Someone will pick it up.

    I've always wanted to go take one on a track just to feel what they're like, back in the NASCAR days they dominated.

    I am sure you mean roundie track, but here is a cool pictures from a few years back when Greg and I had our Birds up at Mid Michigan prepping for Pure Stock.  Mine is a numbers v code 4 speed.  They do suck down to the road pretty well at higher speeds !

    This reminded me of an original 440 6 V code 4 speed Sublime Superbird that has been sitting since 1970. It's 20 minutes away from me.

    I wonder if that is the same Superbird that was at Carlisle on the back of a trailer maybe...3 years back?? He wanted insane money, and if I remember right, it was wrecked too.   :crying:

    This car is simply beautiful and the superbirds always impress me the precious few times I see them up close.  I wish I had the money and garage space for it.  Good luck with the sale!
