one has to go....the 1970 or 1971 is the question..
« on: May 15, 2011 - 01:59:36 AM »
As a few of you know I have a pretty nice 70 cuda that is built for street/strip duties. I have had this car 7 years and drove it in our wedding so it does have some memories. I just bought a 71 cuda that is a nice driver/cruiser and has a fresh 440 in it. I want to keep one but I cant decide which car to keep. If I sold my 70 it would be rolling chassis or less motor..then all that cash would be dumped into the 71....help me
I dont have any pics of the 71 yet but it is a nice driver that sounds and runs good.

Keep the 70 without question.
It is a sick machine..............plus like you mentioned, special memories like that are once in a lifetime that your Cuda was a part of  :2thumbs:  :2cents:

I might be interested in the '71 if I knew more about it? Just started my search and really hoping for the Holy Grail, a 71 hemi.

Which one is your dream car?

If you always wanted a 71, and now you have one, keep that one.

Me, I'm partial to 70s..........

I will post pics of the 71 soon.  My dream car is my 67 coronet r/t 440 4 speed dana car which i have. I have had several 70 cuda's and a bunch of 72-74's but never a 71. In my head I am thinking of which one would be worth more in the long run..I have built the 70 pretty much from the ground up but can also picture myself (and family) enjoying the 71 as a "family" cruiser. I dont know guess i can just wait and see how it goes for now... :bricks1:

If it were an AAR I'd have a tough time deciding between it and a '71.  Otherwise I'd have no trouble letting a 70 go.

Is either one a BS model? Or both a BH? (maybe BP?)
Keep the BS23 model.

Honestly, knowing that the 70 has more memories for you. I would keep that one. Having any cuda is great, no need to worry about year differences.

Hmmm...... It seems to me the worst thing to do is to make a hasty decision -- so take your time  (like a few years?)
