Sad day for wrestling fans

 :angelwings: just read on msn home page that randy "the macho man" savage died this morning from an apparent heart attack causing him to drive his jeep wrangler of the road striking a tree.my condolences and prayers go out to his family.used to love watching him wrestle in the early days and loved his signature
OH YAAAAAAAAAAAA...........

 :angelwings: He will missed by many...................... :'(

I just saw the story too didn`t hear about the heart attack part. Very sad indeed I don`t follow wrestling anymore but when I did he was one of my favorites. He will be missed!

What about Rowdy roddy piper, I have not seen him since he did that Movie, "They Live"! Sad to hear macho got it!!,... he was hilarious to watch screaming at that anouncer what was his name the bald dude?!!!

That was Gene Oakerlund. I probably have the spelling of his name wrong, but it sounds right in my head.   :swaying:

Owen Heart. A.K.A The Blue Blazer his gimmick was jumping down from the rafters into the ring with some cable attached to him obviously something went horribly wrong for him. He was sort of just getting popular before he died. I can`t keep track of how many wrestlers I used to watch when I was a kid that have died, either from tragic accidents or drug related issues. Ravishing Ric Rude, Curt Hennig Mr. Perfect, The Von Erichs, Bam Bam Bigello, Flyin Brian Pillman even Miss Elizabeth you can go on and on. I know wrestling is fake but the injuries are real!
