Will these Rims fit?
« on: May 20, 2011 - 04:10:59 PM »
Centerline Champ 500 (15"x10"...  5" backspace) (5x4.5"bolt pattern)   on the rear of a 70 Cuda ???  no modifications....  (I currently have air shocks, I want to get rid of them)...   Tire size has yet to be determined...

I think any time you go to 10" wide rims, you enter modification territory to your suspension.

I've seen a few guys here run with 275 tires (11.611) on Cuda's (no mods) but on 18" rims (lower profile).  I just want to be 100% certain, I'm not going to buy them if they don't fit....  15 x 10 with a 5" backspace look like it is going to be close....  Does anybody know for sure?

my 15x8's with 4 1/2 backspacing with a 275 60 tire is a wheel well full. they are close to the spring. i think you will need doctor diffs kitto move the springs in 1" and a b body rearend to fit 10" wheels.

I agree, they will stick out 2 inches.
