Duck tail spoiler placement?

I need to know where the duck tail spoiler should mount on the decklid. Is it flush with the rear edge of lid or is it in a bit? If anyone has any close up shots of their duck tail spoilers mounted that would be a big help too. All the threads I searched through the photos are no longer there,Thanks!

I have a Challenger, but I'm sure your car is similar. Check the inside of your trunk lid for clues as to where the braces would mount. It's not mounted on the edge for sure. It's just at the point where the trunk lid starts to dip down.

Thanks for the reply Mek but I am not going with the wing style. My deck lid doesn`t have any of the cutouts for a spoiler attachment either I have to do it myself. Nothing I can see for me to go by on the inside.

If your car is not an original AAR or T/A you can always put it where you think it looks best.  Since it's not stock on my car what I did was make the back ribs of the spoiler basically flush with the rear of the decklid.  Hope this helps.

My AAR mounting. Looks like u have the spoiler mounted correctly.......My son just had his 70 Barracuda painted gm green with envy. I hope to post pictures soon.
