Hello ----


On a SixPack car, were the attaching feet installed from the factory?


Also - does anyone have a picture or two of the grounding straps installed?  I looked all over the assembly and can't find any.
Last thing I need is for the thing to build up a static charge.

I ordered  the grounding straps - should have them next week.

Can anyone tell me if the 440 sixpack with the shaker would have come from the factory with the feet/supports?
If so, where do they hook up?

If anyone has a picture or two ot would be SO helpful.

The bubble bounces around some, even with the aircleaner wing-nuts tightened up pretty tight.

yes, 340 and 440 had them.

they were rubber coated L brackets that  rest on top the valve covers,

where and how do they attach to the base plate?

I am guessing that the feet are not spot welded to the valve cover - is that correct>  They just snuggly rest on it.

If you have a pciture that would be awsome.

There is a bracket welded to the base plate that the "L" shaped foot bolts to.  The rubber coated foot just rests on top of the valve cover.

I guess that the best way to proceed is to find where the feet would natuarally fit (up front) under the base plate, mark and weld the angled attaching brackes in.

I will order the kit from Roseville Monday.

I measured mine for you.  It looks to be about 6 3/8" towards the front from the center stud on the drivers side, and about 6" on the passenger side.
