It does look interesting.  I don't do body work but can imagine how useful it can be for sealing out moisture or making a more finished look.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

The MELT part is where I'm lost as to how a home shop application could utilize this.

From the video, I don't think it is designed for home use. I got the impression that
this was a promotional video for large manufacturers.  :dunno:

If I cant fix it, it's broke

 But I venture a phone call, If a heat gun or better yet a hair dryer will work, Could be pretty ausum stuff
