Tube work finished! Ready for the final weld up with flanges and hangers. The tips will be done once the car is complete as I'm planning on modifying the rear valence a bit.

Work looks great Aaron,

Is your exhaust system going to be welded front to back? I don't see any joints other than at the headers. Although this makes for a clean leak free system it is a major hassle for future removal. The exhaust system on my car was welded solid when I bought it. This has been a challenge when doing any work that required removal. Over this winter I am planning on putting TTI's on my car and a cross over like your doing, but I will be flanging at the inlet and outlet of my mufflers so front and rear piping can be removed independently.

Looks great though.

There's going to be two bolt flanges just after the mufflers, I'm waiting for them to be water jet cut out of 10mm stainless.
I tacked it all together for now for ease of fabrication.

Could you post a pic of the inside of the floor from where you cut it out for the e brake lines.
Just wondering what it does to the foot space.

Looks great!

Are you doing your own welding on the pipes?

Cheers!
Yep, I'm doing all the work.

I'll try and get a photo for you. It looks cool, although anyone riding in the back of my car will have more to deal with than reduced foot space! ha ha

The box was mainly made for exhaust clearance. I had to cut a hole in the floor to get the mufflers to sit tight up in the body, forward, and symmetrically. It suited the handbrake setup too, as I had to cut out the first cable mount I'd made, due to exhaust clearance. I really tried to get the exhaust tight up into the body! I've just spent half the day today cutting the floor in other places to get clearance for other parts of it. Now onto the exhaust mounts and O2 sensor bungs!

That is not near as deep as I thought from the bottom picture.
No real problem there with foot space.
Awesome!

Exhaust is pretty much done, at least for now. The flange at the header end will be welded on once the engine is in the car.

I added some stainless bungs for O2 sensors to help with tuning.

There are 4 mounts to the body, with 10mm stainless hangers and polyurethane isolators. I braced the floor with plates welded to the body and welded 10mm nuts to the other side to make mounting and adjusting the exhaust easy. The stainless plate on the hanger has a bunch of adjustment possible. The rubbers are pretty solid, you don't get much movement yanking on the exhaust, so should be good to go.

This is the bracket for the rear mounts near the end of the exhaust. Again there's captive nuts welded on and hanger brackets with adjustment.

The mild steel tail pipes got sandblasted and will be sprayed with black high-temp paint.
