Cheers!
I'm using copper weld through primer on the weld surfaces. After the weld I wipe the excess off with thinners.
Hey Cuda James, yeah my AMD parts needed some massaging.
I notched and bent the drip rails to better fit the profile of the roof.
The roof fit well, but it's missing the beveled edge around the rear window.
One of my quarters needed some shrinking along the edge where it meets the dutchman panel.
The dutchman panel ended up fitting pretty well, after initially seeming to be way off.
Over all the panels fit well, but not perfect.
Most of the effort and pain was in lining everything up and figuring out where discrepancies originated from, and how to fix them.
The more you look the more you find, and stuff that seemed to fit or look good, can be off when you look again.
I'll be in no hurry to repeat this again! ha ha
Good luck!
