Cheers guys,
I got a Moroso air oil separator to plumb into the PCV line. Should take care of the oily fumes.
There's no baffle under the valve, so if the separator fills up too fast I'll make something up and weld it to the valve cover.

The car work has been fun lately, today a friend at work milled out a nice bracket I designed for the KRC power steering pump.
Here's a teaser:

Just waiting on some fittings and miscellaneous stuff before I can finish up the pump, hydroboost, steering quickener, etc

Cheers!

Yep, counter sunk capscrew holes! I can't wait to finish the brackets off and bolt everything together.
Got to machine up the spacers and clean up some edges, but it fits perfectly and is really solid.
Here's my 3d model:

My friend at work had a piece of 7075 alloy lying around so we used that for the brackets.
I was going to get it all anodised black when finished but it looks so nice I might leave it bare alloy.
I'm going to make alternator brackets to match, with a little rod end hex turnbuckle underneath.

I did have to modify the body of the car to fit everything. The SPAL fans on the Griffin radiator clashed with the serpentine pulley of the PS pump. I cut the radiator mounting flanges off the radiator core support (I wasn't using them to mount the radiator anyway) so I could move the whole radiator assembly forward away from the motor by about 10mm. Have about 5mm clearance now, it's tight but it all fits.

Here's the work on the PS pump bracket.
The pump is a KRC racing pro series, a nice piece of gear!

Fits perfect and looks great!

looks great! Curious about that machine? Got a bigger picture of it? Looks like a CNC router?  I'd love to get a mill equipped with  Acu-rite with Millpwr  I've run them at shops I've worked at, sure are sweet and easy to learn!

Yep, it's a cnc router machine, built by a guy here at Weta.
He builds these machines, and then gets them to build more machines, then he gets those to build jet engine parts! He's a bit of a genius!

Looks like fun. I recognize some of the parts to build that router from a place I worked at building automation equipment. :2thumbs:

Very cool, I've not seen a router used to mill aluminum before!  I use one to make my guitars and have a small desktop mill for small parts and tooling.   I'd like to get a Fadal or Haas one of these days.
