Slowly coming together...



Had to make room for the overkill headers. I found TIG welding alloy to be a lot trickier than steel!
It didn't turn out too bad though.

 :woohoo:  :wow: ARRON,got done checking out your build up to now and alli can say is fantastic job.your car is going to look bad a&$.the light weight fender's and hood look awesome and will really take off some weight,man that engine looks killer also and looks like it's going 150 mph standing still.love the control arms and suspension also.now i know why you were wanting me to get the hood and fenders out to california with all those other goodies you had waiting out there to get ship over to you,must have been like christmas opening up that box. lol.
would love to see this beast in person,matbe someday you will make it over to the states.  :thumbsup:

keep up the awesome job your doing,gonna be one bad a$$ cuda when done

I'm planning for it to be quite a bit lower than this though.

Do you have drop spindles?  If not, you will probably find that the lower control arm is bottomed out before getting it as low as you like.

Spindles look to be the Magnumforce dropped spindles?

Not much happening lately, been waiting on parts and been overseas.


Did up the garage so I can finish the car there. Weta is too busy with orcs and robots to fit the car in.


Been working on getting the motor ready for first run/break-in. Made an exhaust system so I don't void the warranty on the muy caro TTI headers.
The engine is complete now, just needs final assembly of the valve train and intake.

Nice work ...When you get to the rear window channel corners I would like to see how you fix them. I'm sure they are rusty like mine. I have been stalled on this for a while.

Here's some of the latest work:


Mocking up the steering column, steering wheel, pedals, seats etc to work out the seat brackets and steering quickener.


Figuring out the mount for the quickener.


Once I'd worked out the design I plasma cut it out of 3mm steel.


Here's the finished result.


Bolted in place with the 1.5:1 steering quickener.




Fabricated an alloy shroud for the fans, and just starting the wiring for the run stand.
