Still runs, but blows oil out the breathers. It was going bad last year & looks like the rings just won't seal anymore.
Supposed to have J heads with 2.02s (they are #915s). I assume its otherwise a standard cast crank 340. New(er) parts are the 650 edelbrock carb ( have 750 too), air gap intake (& Mopar M1), Comp XE274 cam, SFi balancer and TTI headers.
I know I have to get it rebuilt, but wondering what approach to take. Stock size or stroker. Want an engine that can handle revs well for track days, but also want streetable power for daily driving. My engine builder is suggesting we just build the .030 over 340 block he has in hand with a stoker kit. Not much more than rebuilding my 340?
Thoughts appreciated.
