believe it or not cuda guy.  aar sells one for less than $500 and i talked to the guy at aar and he said they look just like the metal and are smoother looking. just like a aar cuda hood but only shaker. seeing is believing and i haven't seen one yet.  i was hoping somebody else had one!.  thanks for the reply. mike in tn

Have heard that the fiberglass hoods have one problem. The trim ring does not have a definition line to separate it from the hood. It all looks like one piece. I also have the name of a guy who takes the standard flat hood and adds all the substructure to the underside, spot welds it into place and his trim ring is separate--like original. Looks REAL good--got one on my Challenger 440 Six-Pack and I like it!

If I remember correctly the hood was $1300.00. Might be less if you can get your flat hood to him as a core exchange. The trim ring was included at that price--there is a trim ring on ebay now going for $375.00. Guys name is Gene Gregory. Hood comes finished in epoxy primer--ready to scuff and paint and it was done very nicely. Have seen a few factory SHAKER hoods and can't tell the difference. Will post his phone # later when I find it.

Chryco: Did you think that the hood looked as good as a factory unit?

Gregorys hood looked great to me but I didn`t have a factory one to compare it to so there  may be some subtle differences in the stampings
