Muscle Car Youngster/ Newb
« on: June 02, 2011 - 09:40:37 PM »
Hey Guys!

I was a kid whose first car seat was in the back of '70 340 Challenger. My father built and restored the junkyard  car before I was
born and was his nly car due to the fact money was tight back then.  Sadly, the car was stolen from us before
I even got the chance to press on the pedal. Since, then I have always respected, loved, and desired an American
Muscle due to my father's of his beloved  machine.

However,  I am embarrassed to say that I have been driving a 4 cyl. Honda.  I am tired of being like every
other  teen in my century wasting their  money on fart-canned exhaust and turbo kits. I'm tired of driving
a car that looks like it can found at the bottom of a cereal box.

Unlike teen ricers  today, it is my desire and dream to restore a '71 440 Cuda.  I love the radicle idle. I love the roar
of the throttle. AND most of all I want to be able to scare  the  everyday teen "ricers"  when pulling up to a stoplight. :burnout:

With your guys help, I am here to learn so please sprinkle me with your Mopar knowledge! Thanks!

yes, welcome.
Nothing wrong with fart can hondas. Driven them, and a couple of minivans myself. Consider them a right of passage.
keep your dream, work hard, and before you know it you will be driving it.

Welcome!     Don't knock your honda,   Your driving the hot rod of your era and there's nothing wrong with that unless you've gone too far with neons, stickers and fake carbon fiber hehe.

I have imports as well, newer and vintage.

Stick around and maybe you'll find your 71.

Welcome to the site!  Best of luck with your search of finding a '71 'Cuda...It may be hard to acquire one if you don't have a lot of disposable income coming in, but just stick with your plan/dream & something will eventually come along for you. :2thumbs:  Don't be embarrassed about driving a 4-cylinder Honda; my daily driver is a '90 Celica GT liftback & I must say I'm enjoying the fill-up costs much more than when I was using my Stealth TT (fun factor is a different story, but oh well).  Think of it as more money in the bank for the car you truly want every time you're re-fueling it. ;)

All-American Muscle: 'Cudas and Challengers...Still the Elite and always will be.
