I don't think anyone here is being hateful, and I am aware that someone is showing off what they are quite proud of. But when you put it out here and it it not a factory original (sometimes even then) you are going to get feedback, and it is not always back patting and thumbs up. The fact is, most find it odd looking and are pointing out when they are not keen on.
I find these discussions to be quite informative. We find out who makes good parts, bad parts, why it looks odd, how to make it look, feel, or work better.
I would not take anything said here personal, just take it as opinions (and are we full of them) and suggestions. As long as you are happy, Brother you have done well.
