Man I felt sorry for those folks not used to those four magic words when it comes to summer in Alabama, "dome of high pressure". Think of a crockpot when the lid is placed on it and you'll have an idea of the southeast for the last, as well as the next, several days :faint:

It's 98 degrees right now; the following pics were taken between twelve thirty and three this afternoon :eek4:

I did overhear one lady (as she was retrieving some items from the trunk of a new Camaro) say "it was in the mid-fortys when I left last week".

Some nice personal touches on this 74 Challenger

A true 68 340 Formula S convertible; auto, a/c, tan interior

OPTIMUSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! :smilielol:

A buddy from the Mobile area trailered his Barracuda

Just missed this fellow arriving; got a few shots after it was parked

Nice 65 Dodge with a 6.1 Hemi :2thumbs:

Everything's been done to 67-69 Camaros; imo this one had just the right touches and I told the owner so. Silver with gray hood stripes and Cragar SS wheels.

You had a great day Russ.   :2thumbs:

I had forgotten what an 80's Sunbird looked like. I thought it was an import.   :banghead:

Sweet clean (restomod is how the owner described it to me) GT500 KR   "Tremec 5-speed, 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes, 427 side oiler. Oh yeah, i could drive it :bananasmi

Rat Rod :burnout:

The owner said this mostly original 62 Ford was a former North Georgia Sheriff 406 Tri-Power 3 speed (now 4 speed) stick car

68 Polara 383 4bbl, auto

I spoke to these two fellows after they parked. They had driven to Florida from Ontario (as in Canada) and were making their way back. The 70 Charger is a 318 non air car.

you must have been leaving at the same time as we were because we met the lime green challenger coming in. Actually he is a buddy of mine that lives a few miles north of me. We were traveling in an '07 Charger Daytona Plum Crazy this year. My '74 had charging issues and I didn't want to chance it.
