The reproduction handles that most people sell are listed as Cuda and Challenger BUT they are accually Cuda handles.  There are 3 different styles of handle.

1970-71 Challenger....concave
1970-71 Cuda....convex
1972-74 Cuda and Challenger....flat so they sort of fit both cars(these are not repopped AFAIK)

Dales Cuda Shop sells the correct Challenger handles.  They had a special at the Mopar Nat's last year.  I bought outside and inside handles along with inner door locks for $150.

you said one this in one post and another in this one ... which is which> Concave / convex challenger or cuda?
Got me curious now....I did not know there was a difference.

I changed my 1st post.  Challengers are concave.  They curve with the door so the bottom of the handle sticks out farther.  Cudas curve with the door also so the center of the handle sticks out farther.  By putting a Cuda handle on a Challenger, you end up with a very noticable gap in the center of the handle opening.  I think there is a picture floating around of the differences.  I'll look for it.

This thread shows the differences.  There is also a picture of a Cuda handle on a Challenger so you can see the gap I was talking about.

I skewed this thread off topic and I'm sorry.  The car looks great!  The handle just looked a little "off" in your picture.  It's probably just the angle the picture was taken.

Do you have any details or pics of the modifications to the floor for the Charger seats? I've got a set of SRT Challenger seats I'll be installing but looking at the mock up I believe I'll have to drop/modify the outer "bump" in the floor to do this. I'm 6'2" though so maybe it's just me.

Thanks!
Wes
I don't recall exactly but there's a bracket that u can remove off the seat to make it go lower... I didn't have any welding done but they fit well... add me on db and you can see some older pics with the height of the seats I wish I could say more but the shop that worked on the car installed them...

It's hard to see the difference when you are just looking at the handles.  You can see the difference when installed on the car much better.  Basically when standing at the front of the car, looking at the drivers side handle, the 70-71 Challenger handle is shaped like this (.  The 70-71 Cuda handle is shaped like this ).

Nice car definitely!  Great stance!

I wouldn't go w/30-series tires.  Way too skinny.

I think to reduce the size of the wheel visually would be to paint the centers black, but that's just me since I'm not a fan of anything bigger than 18s on old musclecars.
