    Finally decided to buy one of the grant "tuff wheel" clones.......the stock wheel was just to hard and skinny in my paws.

    Wow what a difference it makes!

    Car feels different...LOL

    Ok, maybe not 50 HP different, but a different perception while driving.

    Bolted right on, no muss or fuss, in about 10 minutes tops.

    I am sure this is old news to many here, but its new to me!  :)   :bigsmile:

    I have one too ( foam) It's nice I like it. Someday I'd really like to get a leather one but  :money: I like the center cap Scott Shanks has in his!

    Mine is foam....I was wondering if I could get it wrapped in leather though....

    Where did you pick it up?

    A few years ago I picked up a Grant 'Challenger' 4 spoke wheel. I found I was always moving my head left or right to read the gauges. So I took it off. How does the wheel you put on work as far as viewing the instrument cluster?

    Got it from Summit.....$91 and shipping.

    It is maybe an inch smaller diamater than the stock wheel, so not much smaller.....but thicker which makes a real difference.

    I can see the gauges just fine,which is what i was worried about.....I guess if it were smaller it would be an issue.

    I just went through that edition and I can't believe  "Scott Shanks" lives in my small town and I never met or heard of him....Oh well, I am more famous than him anyway and I bet I have more toys than he.   :grinyes:

    You must have the newer version, only picked up 25hp from mine.
    Carbon Fiber overlay gave me another 10hp though, so I need to add a few more items.
