Hello all, new reg; old school racer
« on: June 11, 2011 - 06:03:32 AM »
Hello all, I just wanted to say "hi" and to let every one know I think this is a awesome site for E bodies. I have found a lot of good info already and look forward to learning more about new and old school ebody stuff.
See,
Once upon a time I had a 1970 Dodge Challenger RT 383 mag in 1980 (we had 102 octane leaded gas back then) and had the fastest car in highschool (81-82). I lived less than five miles from Fremont Drags so this meant a lot of competetion to be the king, but I did it. I built and raced my car with my own guts and cash and not that "PINKS" buddies help stuff (real ironman racing).
Well onto the present, I bought a replacement 1970 Dodge Challenger RT 440 recently and after two weeks of owning it I started rebuilding everthing on it for high horsepower city pounding etc.. Here I go again!!
