Waterneck problem---- ARGHHHHHH!
« on: June 11, 2011 - 02:51:07 PM »
So I am in the midst of an intake swap...I go to switch my water neck and it does not fit!!!

The Performer RPM states that it accepts 1975 and earlier waterneck only, I guess mine is a later one, the Torker which I am swaping out has provisions for both.

Anyone know the best place to pick one up???

I assume the correct thermostat, which alos does not fit, will be for any pre 75 mopar.

Thanks,

Mancinis has a billet part which tends to warp less & not leak like the factory part , the smaller stas are far easier to seal up

:iagree:  Don't mess with a cheap waterneck.  I have fought mine for months before replacing it with a billet one.

I recently picked up a housing from O'Reilly's for less than 10 bucks. Nothing fancy. Just a factory style cast aluminum piece.
