welcome - and good luck on the challenger . by vin # is this a 383 car ? i see a flat hood with dodge emblem at front center , non rallye dash and it looks like its a single outside mirror car (most , again i say most as there were many configurations done by chrysler corp) most single ouside mirror (oval mirror) cars were either 6 cyl or hemi cars . also are those v8 emblems on the front fenders ? if it was a single outside mirror , do you have it ? and what condition ? my car was an assembly "mistake" was ordered with the 426 and came to the selling dealer with the 440 , all other markings are hemi , single mirror , dana 4:10 etc ... thats why the original owner only owned it for 6 months (he was pissed off and ordered a hemi roadrunner and sold the r/t) of course i may be wrong on the other markings on your ride , as said , chrysler had many combinations . i would think a flat hood , non r/t , non rallye dash , single outside mirror , 4 speed car would be very rare . again , im also a newbie here , but it looks like a good site to gain the needed info for your challenger build , building these cars are not for the faint of heart (or pocketbook) good luck , and enjoy the hell out of your new e-body .
