Threads like these are very helpful to members restoring cuda's and challengers. A Good stock 440 ,383, or hemi build-up would be awsome as well with a million pics. The best 440 build I read was in Mopar muscle magazine August 2006 Stock 440-6 build.

Great stuff.  Collect it on a cd, and I'd pay money for it.  Online only, and what you're looking for gets lost in the shuffle, or becomes a dead link, etc.  It's nice to have it contained on media you can control.

Sounds like you documenting the restoration would be a great idea. And I would use it when needed.

I really like the work you do and would love to see you continue!!!

That said, I agree with Blue Meanie.  If you are going to take the time to put these tips together it would be great to have them on disc that the DIY user can go back and refer to easily as opposed to having to go back and find the link you need (and if the link is lost or the pictures are lost your good, hard work may be lost as well).  I konw you aren't putting this together to make money, but selling the CDs will help offset your costs as well as allow you to start more projects to report on, and as much as I like free stuff, I would feel as if I contributed to your efforts if I bought a DIY disc from you.

Thanks again for taking on this challenge.
Mike

I think the how to do it, and the sources for materials needed is an excellent idea! When I get back on restoreing my 72 Challenger I will need and be looking for lots of info like this! These things are very helpful and appreciated by people like me.  Keep up the good work, thanks! :2thumbs:

I think a step by step would be great. Another one would be for seats, and brake booster,

I would love to see more "how to" stuff.   Thanks so far.

I would also be interested in the steering column thread.

Cody, thanks for all the tips and postings. I followed your advice and assembled my entire dash, instruments, new stereo, etc. with it out of the car and on a table. Now i can see why its better that way. i had that thing together and assembled at least 3 times before i got it right. No way in he!! i could have done it in the car. i had too build some brackets to hold the new stereo and that took a lot of mock up to get it right.   :2thumbs:

Cody
great thread thanks for all the info and hard work on your part! I am just affraid like the others that the picture deleter is going to come along and make your hard work go away! what a SHAME.  It is such a great thread.  I agree you should put this great info on a cd and sell it! that way those that need it don't have to get frustrated with those little red boxes with "x"s in them   :stomp:
Thanks again!
