A couple of Shaker questions

I'm doing a dry run putting the Shaker together and I'm finding that the cold and warm air doors are binding a little. Neither door is closing all the way when I use the short cable. Is it better to shave a little out of the inside of the bubble, or can I get away with adding a couple of washers between the door mechanisms and the bubble itself? The hot/cold air door connector bar seems to bind a little as well, but it might be because of the doors binding so I'm planning on tackling one issue at a time.

the repro parts never seem to work 100% , I would clearance the the bubble a liitle or trim the door itself , the hot cold door you will likely never really use anyway in a warm climate

I actually ended up taking a little out where the cold air hinge was hitting the bubble, and I added a few washers in various configurations until I got it working pretty well. I'll probably have the cold air open most of the time here, but I'd like to have it all working properly just cause it's cool
