The hockey stripes are over done.  If the car didn't come with it I wouldn't put it on.   :2cents:

The car does need something to break up the color a little.  Don't hate me but I think body side moldings would look good on that car.  I'd find out what kind of tape stripe was available in 1970 and go with that since finding side moldings is going to be impossible.

Side mouldings?

Yah, I know.  It sounds weird.  However, there was a guy on Moparts asking if he should put them back on his B5 Cuda.  He ended up putting them back on and they look awsome!

There is a guy on here that sells the stripes and can photo shop them on so you can see what it will look like. Do a search I'm sure you will find him.

Do you need to be a member to see the pictures? I am guessing yes since I don't see any haha. The car has never had the side mouldings, so I guess thats out (we have had the car for ~15-17 years or so now. A guy who did work on our car stole the fender VIN tag off our car and we didnt realize 'til it was too late and he moved out of the country back to Mexico.  :swear: So whether the car had stripes originally or not I have no clue. I am positive however that I would like to add the stripes and since the fender VIN is gone I guess I am alright with making it a little different than it should be according to the build sheet.

I think I am going to hold off on the wing for a bit and think about it once I see how the car looks with the stripes. Maybe the stripes will satisfy my desire to break up the red a bit and match the vinyl top. I think mentally I am still having a hard time drilling into a perfectly good trunk lid. Down the line if I decide to go with a wing I think I am going to purchase a repro trunk lid and have it painted and then put the wing on that.

Thank you for all the input! I will definitely look for the guy with the photoshop skills :)

Was trying to find Cuda pics same color as your car on Google but no luck.

You know, now that I look at your car again, with the black vinyl top, I'm not sure about the hockey stick stripe, might make it look too busy, too much black....  :dunno:  :2cents:  It would look more sporty but I guess the black vinyl top makes it look more classy so it conflicts, IMO.  :dunno:

Personally not a go-wing fan, rather see a duck tail & I love hockey stripes

Not exactly the same color but here's an idea of what you would see

The color is a Chrysler color that was at one point exclusive to the Dodge Durango (whether this is still true, I have no idea) and I have yet to see it on another muscle car. I did not pick the color, but it has really grown on me... In the sunlight it really sparkles and is this brilliant shade of red, but in the shade it is like a darker shade of red, almost maroon. Anyways, I digress...

I REALLY like the AAR spoiler, but I figured since I do not own an AAR Cuda (that will be my second Cuda  :roflsmiley: :droolingbounce:) it would be out of place. Can't have those purists breathing down my back hehe. Luggage rack? No thanks, I don't want to be a speeding luggage carrier hahah. They are cool, but not the look I am going for...

Super Blue, I am going to hold off on a wing or spoiler of any sort for fear that it will look too busy in the back. Shame though, Year One has a 30% off sale until tomorrow night at midnight. $449*.30=134.70 savings for a grand total of $310. So tempting...
