to me the upper mount relocation with the Hotchkiss arms makes sense , it levels the upper arm ao as it swing through the arc up & down the caster should not change , with the factory arrangement you have to lose caster as the upper control arm drops

:iagree: I'm just saying the #1 handling issue with a Mopar is bump steer. :2cents:

How do you measure bumb steer.  I thought I would mount all this stuff up and take it to a alignment shop.  Any recomendations on settings castor camber? and bump steer.

An alignment shop won't know or have the ability to check bump steer. Google bump steer gauge.. Here is how I checked it. Moved the suspension in 1" increaments and recorded the measurements. Changing bumpsteer is tricky you have to get creative. Look at the bottom of my sig for my handling post to see what I came up with?

Mine is set to 3 degrees for caster, 5/8 of a degree camber and 1/8 toe in.

Thats over my head and I don't have the measuring tools.  It looks a little out of my league with all that has to be setup.

This is what I finally decided to do.  Magnum Force sub frame connectors.  I went with Firm feel power steering box level 2, their upper control arms, poly busings, moog ball joints, 1" torision bars, and bilstein shocks.  Also their rear 3/4 inch rear sway bar.  Went to Dr Diff for rear brakes because they will fit the sway bar.  They said they were the same calipers as on 2004 Mustang Cobra.  2" over bent leaf springs from Springs and Things.  It will be a month for I get all this on.  I'll let you know how it works out.  I try to remeber to take some pictures. :droolingbounce: :woohoo:

Oh yes it did.  I happen to have sold a real estate investment and made a few dollars, but I think it's gone now.   Let the good times roll.  I'll keep you posted on the progress.

2" over bent leaf springs from Springs and Things.

Sometimes the simplest answers are the best.

I seriously doubt you could have got the nose low enough to safely reproduce the "air shock" look without having a number of issues. They could have all been worked around and eventually solved, but at roughly 4x the cost of simply getting taller leaf springs.

Enjoy!
