I'm hoping someone can help me :clueless:I have a 440 with a Edelbrock 750 manual choke it seems when I first start it I need to pump the gas 4 or 5 times and if i turn the car off and back on it will start right back up,but if I wait 5 or 10 min. I have to hold the gas pedal to the floor before it starts again? I don't like doing that because when it starts the engine is screaming.Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Check your float level, and let off the gas when you start it.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Install the Fel Pro 1215 intake pan , it will block the heat cross over & keep the carb from boiling the fuel dry , the reason it is hard statrting is the carb has no fuel left in it & some has boiled over into the intake flooding the engine
