tpms in the tires

what happens  when you dont put in the tpms in the rims i heard just a light goes on can you shut it off any info on this would be great thanks

A light comes on, but I don't know of a way to turn it off.

As long as the TPMS sees a fault the light will remain on. Unfortunately there is no way to shut the light off permanently. Then again
you can always take the bulb out.   :stirpot:

well i paid 100 for all 4  rubber ones and they dont fit the ccws so should i go with the metal tpms just want to make shure they will fit this time around.

whitch bulb would it be to take out that seems to end it thier as i dont need them anyway mine is not lit up yet so i dont know the bulb to pull,the car is still on jack stands in the frount.

Just swap your sensors from your old wheels, you cant take the bulb out of the cluster.

that wount work i bought new one from ebay the same one for the rt 20 but they dont fit the ccws,mabee they use srt8 ones they might be just a tad differnt

the best fix I know of for this is to build a small tube with a valve stem using plumbing PVC tube , throw in all 4 senosr & inflat to 40 psi & put it into the trunk

yes it works , just take a piece of black or white plumbing pvc tube ,  ,drill a hole into the cap & install a valve stem , glue or thread the caps on both ends with the sensors inside , inflate to 40 psi , toss it into the trunk & forget about it !!

i take it up to discount tire and they put them right in they said the guy who mounted the tire should have lubed them up.what a dumb ass so now they are in thanks guys
