idler arm bracket question
« on: June 19, 2011 - 01:43:03 PM »
I have another question regarding my steering link hitting my oil pan.  Should the bottomof the idler arm bracket on the K member be parallel to the ground or should it be slightly angled up (toward the rear of the car)? If it is supposed to be at an angle, approximately what whould the degrees of angle? Mine is angled up slightly(  which would cause the steering link to be higher and thus closer to my pan).  Does anyone have pictures of how the steering linkage should look(such as pitman arm to steering link and idler arm to steering link)?

Thanks
Mike
