Very good numbers.   :2thumbs:

With a 30% drop in HP to the rear wheels you have about 450 hp to the fly wheel.

Your engine set up is close to mine, so it's god to see what numbers you ran.

What were the torque numbers?

Looking at your chart and such, I started wondering (cause I really do not know).....does rear tire size come into play at all when on the dyno?

 :clueless:

I am afraid to have my little 318 dyno'd cause I would probably be disappointed and then would start looking to upgrade....LOL

My 440 should be done in the next two weeks, and we are going to dyno it then.. I can't wait to see the numbers.  I am shooting for 500 at the fly wheel and 550 ft lbs of torque.

Anybody got any ideas?????
The carby was on the limit of being too big but will be perfect when i up the anti a bit  :grinyes:
Shadango,Im not real good with all the technical stuff but i wouldnt reckon the wheel size would make a difference??

well the performer rpm would help you alot with your setup . replace the pistions (raise the compression) youll see even more improvement  . i like at least 11 to 1 for aluminum heads . then 500 the rear wheels with some minorto myour setup  changes shouldnt be a problem.

I don't think diameter would really have much to do with it. But the weight of the wheel/tire would definitely effect it. The more rotational mass you have be it transmission gears/drive shaft/rear end/ tires will effect how much hp/tq is allowed to go from the motor down to the dyno machine. That is why you have a loss of power, and why racers are constantly looking for lightweight, strong wheels.
Cuda is gone :(

:woohoo: My engine builder called today!  :woohoo:

and said, the bottom ends done and the motor should be completed by Thursday, if the head gasket show up on time. He will break it in on Thursday and do a dyno pull on Friday.
 :jumping:

Now starts the longest seven days of my life.  :walkaway:  :woo:
