.
I'm in Richmond Hill, Ontario and usually go to the local neighboring shows with my Trans AM or Corvette.

Hey maybe we will meet up sometime at a show as we are not that far apart! :2thumbs:

Nice! You going to add quarter scoops and black out the tail panel for the true R/T experience?

I was thinking of the Quarter Scoops... But sort of like it plain looking without them.
For the rear stripe. I don't know.. I think maybe in the future.. I could look at altering the look.

I was thinking of the RT badges.. and possible the Challenger emblems on the fenders.
I have the 440 Magnum emblem on the hood. so the compliment of the RT badges on the Fenders would complete it.
What do you guys think?

Niiiiice one there. I myself have a 2 Chevys, 1 Ford, and 2 Mopars in the garage. Some come and go, but you always need a Mopar, and you now have a nice one again!

My first car when I was 18yrs old was a 70 Challenger RT "U" code 440. I still remember the VIN by memorization, and I'd be curious as to who has the car now.

Anyways. Fast Forward 21yrs and I just picked up a 71 Challenger. (Not a real RT) (and I don't care...It's a real Challenger LOL :)

Body is fantastic. and it's white! Has a 440 Magnum in it, and I couldn't be happier.
I thought I'd never get one again!

Nothing Better than an E-Body Challenger/Cuda.

I am proud to be part of the board here, and I'm welcome to any suggestions.
Thanks
Welcome
My first Challenger was also a white U code 440 4spd 70 & I also memorized the serial # , I wonder hwere both of them are !!

That is a beautiful car. My opinion, with white and clack cars both is that I'd go minimal on the additions. These bodies are so perfect to begin with.

Get some clean shots and submit to the calendar competition.

Very nice White71RT Beautiful Challenger. I bought the movie soundtrack that contains all the original movie music and loaded it onto my computer & then created a HUGE playlist from it with all the chase music made into long play. the music that plays in the beginning when K is driving along the river with 2 motorcycle cops chasing him & all the way through to the spot he finally pulls to the side of the road after crossing into my state of Nevada.  the cop  cars were chasing him after that JAG flipped into the water. It is pretty good road music especially when you can listen to it in a Challenger. I stretched out a 45 minute Cd to almost 2 hours. I also put the movie onto audio CD with the DVD ripper program and i can listen to the entire movie going down the road in my truck. I just need to get a challenger to go with my music Cds.

Love it. Great looking car.

These are certainly a car that look brilliant in white, maybe a certain movie helped a little, but so what?

Between seeing that movie as a kid and being my first car when I was 18yrs old... I never was content until I had one again.
No other alternative car could match The Challenger!! No Camaro. ( and I had 3 other them) No Trans AM! No Vette! ( I currently have them aswell)  etc...

Given a choice to get rid of all and keep one... It would be the Challenger I'd have to keep. Where in the Hell would I find another???  Seriously.. My preferance has always been this car from day one, and deep down I knew it! :)

And the movie Vanishing Point.. I watch it religiously with my buddies, and no other car flick comes close!

Thanks for all your replys guys..  8)

I've had my car since I was 16. In the movie Death Proof, when one characters asks another "Does it have to be a Challenger?" I yelled out "Yes!"
