72-74 Challengers did NOT use a Cuda handle.  Both the Cuda and Challenger used the same handle but it was a third style...flat not curved.

what i said was in 12-73 chrysler superceded the handles to supply one handle, flat or cuda at this point it doesnt matter, with Correct looking repo handles that are available.

I just took a pair of handles out of a '70 Challenger.  The car has never been repainted.  The part numbers are 2999886-7.  Does anyone have a '72 parts book or a '74 parts book?  I would like to know what part numbers are listed for the two Ebodys.  Thanks,
Tod

Tod,

My 72 parts book shows B as 299816-7 and J as 2999882-3.

Thanks Jim.   It looks like '72 used the same part numbers as a '71.  The change to the same handles for B and J may have been for the '73 model year. It also could have happened during '72.  The '72 parts book was printed and delivered to the dealers in '71 before the new '72 cars.
