I'm with the rest. Show the car for all the above reasons. I've been involved in hosting a lot of shows and we always like having more participants. The spectators like looking at more variety and it doesn't really matter if you stay all day. The only thing that gets sort of annoying is when someone shows up and enters the show, walks through the show and leaves after a quick walk through. Then it seems only like they're using the show as a close parking spot. Being there for a couple hours is perfectly reasonable though.

I have seen a lot of guys park right up to the car show/cruise-in.  they are not IN the show but they still show off their ride.  others will park in the rear 40 ... if you are not in the show get as close as you can.  that will allow others to enjoy your wheels.

Working on it.  I got a 2 car garage and full basement to work with for now.  Looking to do an oversized 2 car this winter next spring. :2thumbs:

Love the new town and house though, kids and wife love it too.

I agree , leave when you need/want to. I never even bother to register my car as I couldn't care less about a prize/trophy. I'm just there to look at all the other nice cars and to get a closer parking spot! ( and safe from the regular parking lot)  :grinyes:

Sounds like something BIGS would do...

Well, if the shows you're talking about are anything like the ones in my area (Sonoma, CA) there's a SEVERE underrepresentation of Mopars.

Last show I went too had about 400-500 cars... there were less than a dozen Mopars!

I'm putting mine in next time just to represent. She's got driver quality paint, but otherwise very presentable. People enjoy seeing something besides a 69 Camaro or a Mustang once in awhile. :-)

I appreciate the responses, and took the advice.  I grabbed the cuda for a show and put it on the lawn.  I was only there for about 3 hours, but nobody seemed to mind.  Turns out the local Mopar guys had just lost one of their own (had a cool AAR).  When I pulled in they waved the car over to their display area even though I was not from the area nor a member of their club.  They wanted the strong Mopar showing in honor of their club member, and they got it.  For a small local show there was some nice sheetmetal including a beautiful original Hemi GTX.  When I got home, mixed in with the show flier dropped on my passenger seat, there was a small thank you card from the wife of the fallen Mopar club member along with a small photo of the AAR he cherished.

Car Guys and Gals are the best.

Needless to say, I won't be parking in the parking lot too much anymore.
