My mother was my spell check for years and I don't think I need one anymore ...

I was a good speller in grade school but that was many years ago.  You must be young!  Enjoy it while you can.  PK

I've had firefox for a couple of years now and haven't seen the spell check, just did a major update recently also.

it should underline a misspelled word to let you know it's wrong then you right click on it and it gives you options for a different spelling ,,there is no button per say but it should work

Thanks, I noticed the red line but didn't know about right clicking, just tried it saves having to look up a word when needed.

Spell check is nice but as others have pointed out it doesn't point out misused words....

Would be good to pick up the word, "prolly".  The word is "probably" people!!!!!!   Sorry, that was my pet peeve but I'm no spelling ace....

Try This---   http://download.cnet.com/ieSpell/3000-12512_4-10208550.html?part=14291&subj=dlpage&tag=button

I've had it for a long time and like it. You can check a single word or a whole document with a right click.

Happy computing

Todd
