in 1984 purchased a 70 barracuda for my son first car.
1985 found an AAR in a newspaper ad. bought it.
Cuda found us
No choice or selection.
My wife's niece had a new challenger cream body matching vinyl top, I felt it was a female car.
It didn't look like a muscle car. Body looks more like a family ride or ladies ride.
Until I saw a T/A Challenger
I own a Gran Coupe Convertible. Wanted a CUda conv.
Gran Coupes were built for luxury or family ride. But hauls ass like a muscle car.

Its not a matter which is better or worse. Its your personal individual taste.............
I've owned many cars, the price and looks attract me.

My favorite car was my special ordered 57 Chev Bel Air HT with
factory ordered corvette engine 270 HP,  2  4bll carters, Dontov cam, Solid lifters,
3 speed on column..

CUDA'S are muscle cars,  look, smell, ride, haul ass, rattle.

I prefer the Cuda, Ive have had both, I just like to looks of a barracuda better and they are much more rare which raises the value. "Supply and demand"The being said I don't like the 72-74 round tail lights, just my personal opinion
