Detail magazine has a Challenger on the cover
« on: June 28, 2011 - 02:29:30 PM »
I saw the new Detail magazine today and they have a yellow Challenger as window dressing behind Shia Labeouf, nice touch not using a new Camaro!

I saw that too.  It's a 72, 73 or 74.

 :iagree:  It's got strobe stripes!

I just told my son about Shia in the Challenger and his first question was, "Why isn't he in a Camaro?".  :roflsmiley:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

The top door latch screw is missing.  My guess is that the photo was modified to remove the VIN sticker and the screw went with it.

They just look way too shiny and the grain pattern looks off.   I guess I don't know for sure.   That's what it looks like in the picture though.
