Stainless trim around headlight door 70 Cuda
« on: June 29, 2011 - 01:59:50 AM »
So I only have only side of this trim, are they interchangeable?  Or are they R and L?  If yes, how to determine which side I have?
Thanks!

Dang put those on so many times I beleive they are not interchangeable. Mounting holes are different.

Assuming you mean the surround trim around the headlight bezels.  They have a slight angle formed into them and are not interchangeable.  The bottom is slightly longer on both sides about 3/8 or so.

I took it out to the shop and put it on two headlights and it appears to be the drivers side, it seemed to want to fit on there right away...so if you want to find a new home for that passenger side you have laying around PM me and maybe we can make a deal!  Thanks!

That sounds right. The passenger side usually catches a dog , critter or a ditch, making the right one the one everyone always needs.  I only have 1 day to look for it before I fly out of the country.  Wife would have to mail it for me when I find it.  I'll see if I can locate it. It's here somewhere
