How to do with front floorcorners?

Got the floor out but at the front corners it's not possible to reach with a drillingmachine to drill out
the spotwelds, how to come around that? Weld the new floor over the old seem or try to remove the old floorpieces somehow?

can`t you use an anglegrinder and just start grinding till that layer is gone? It `s a loud and nasty option,  but all possible rust between them will be gone.  :dunno:

I'm pretty sure I had no trouble getting in there with a spot weld cutter (drill).  How big is the setup you are using?

I'm pretty sure I had no trouble getting in there with a spot weld cutter (drill).  How big is the setup you are using?

The only way is to go from the enginebay, no way to get in between the flooredge and the torquebox or whatever it is there. Another option is like Bart suggested, grind it down.

that front area is spot welded under the car. like previously stated, engine bay under is where to drill. a air chisel will suffice if need be, but due diileeance needs to be taken as to not destroy the firewall side of the panel. in other words, take your time and be patient.

think fast. move slow.
