Real Barn Find 1970 Barracuda

Totally rust free 225 slant 6 auto car.  Originally from northern California.  There are a couple of dents in the passenger side front fender and door, but no serious crash damage.  No fender tag.  The bottom is extra nice.  There is one small hole in the trunk that is more of a punch through than rust.  Engine runs and trans works good enough to get it on a trailer. $12000  email for more pics.  pristow44@yahoo.com  Located in southern  Wisconsin.  Can deliver close for a fee.

Not a bad car needs alot to get to v8 status,..... better starting point than many I have seen. Make it a drag car or a street monster you are not afraid to drive or restomod. Does not appear to need panel replacement that saves alot of $$$$$.

  How much if you needed quarters, floors, frame rails,torsion bar anchors, trunk floor, doors, fenders? and still have a rusty car?

In this economy I would expect that the car wouldn't fetch more that 7K in it's current state. I paid 10K in 2006 for a dent free, virtually rust free one owner (California car) '74 Challenger with a Hughes built 440 that would boil the tires. Nice '70 project car. Well worthy of a restoration. I just think you're a little off on the price. Just my

Total $5630 that isn't including Rails and Anchors as for a rusty car you'd spend way more then that 

As for this Barracuda for sale I think it's a great project price inst far off imo, shame its outta my budget.

I see project cars all the time that have had all that stuff replaced and the car isn't rusty anymore. Your point is moot. The car you have, albeit nice, has no other redeeming qualities and therefore is not worth what you are asking in my opinion. I think 7 k is about right too. It's a  good basis for a clone, but it will always be just that, a clone. So, maybe better to start with a rusty 440 4 speed car and have something worth building.
