I finally got some color on the '74

this started back in February as a quickie body and paint job cause it's mostly a race car. but conflicting
schedules with the guy that is helping me has made this long and painful.
i found that the tail panel was only attached at the QP's
getting some primer on the car
i don't have any pics of the drivers side work. but the car was wet sanded and ready for paint.
i finally got the trunk and door jambs painted ( happy 4th. ) on the '74 Challenger and the next step is the spray booth.

looks good. Is that a home made spray booth? If so, how did you construct it? going to spray my own car too so trying to get some ideas early on myself.

nope, not really a home made spray booth. that's the tent i keep the car in.
actually, i just sprayed the car right where it was sitting in the driveway. i was
only cutting it in so it didn't have to be perfect. the weather turned out to
be perfect or painting that day. not too hot and just enough sun to help the
paint dry. plus the breeze was just strong enough so the bugs stayed away and
the paint didn't go everywhere but on the car. hopefully i'll be painting the rest
of the car on the 24th. i gotta remember my camera. i have a real booth for that.

today was the day!
overall it came out great. i could have block sanded the car a little more but i wasn't putting a ton of time into it.
it's definitely a 10 footer, but i wasn't going for anything more.
