Hey folks,
The "veterans" of Carlisle know that I prepare lunch each year on Saturday, and we're striving to do the same this year. However the attendees list seems to keep growing every day, even with the show only being three days away!
This year we'll be serving Chicken Cheesesteaks to everyone, and we've also grabbed some pasta salad fixings. We also have HOMEMADE BEER that we'll be sharing. We have enough plates for everyone, and I have some special glasses for the beer (since you can't drink homebrew from the bottle - unless you want to spend the afternoon with the runs!)
I'd just like to ask for some help - if people can bring some chips, sodas, maybe some regular plastic cups, etc just to help round out the meal.
Also - for those of you staying at the Courtyard, there's a Weis grocery store literally 2 minutes away, and anyone going down route 11 to Carlisle will pass a Wal-Mart, so you don't necessarily have to get this stuff before traveling to Harrisburg.
If some folks can help out, I'd appreciate it. As with years past, I do
not accept donations for the food, though I will be selling the beer
bottles to anyone interested... you'll see why on Saturday.
