Asking for picture of installed torque boxes
« on: July 05, 2011 - 02:23:23 PM »
My Challenger got some AMD torque boxes installed by a local shop.
Now, what I think is a little wrong, is that the torque boxes aren't welded all the way around, the whole side towards the door sill / side of the car isn't welded on every box.
They're only welded on three sides, like an U.
If anyone could provide me with a picture of what it should look like when done properly, I'd be very grateful for that.

Look in the Archives - Reference pictures thread. Pretty sure Farmboy posted exactly what you are looking for.

These are pictures of PG classics torque boxes installed on my 71 cuda. as you can't tell on the rear boxes every outer edge gets a full weld.(these have been finished welding since the pictures were taken)The front boxes get welded to the sides then the floor pan
