Kickoff to Carlisle questions
« on: July 06, 2011 - 08:16:26 AM »
Anyone know when the kickoff cruise in Mechanicsburg actually starts?

And is it worth trying to get in if we get there later?

The site they have setup has little info and doesnt seem to work well  :swear:with Firefox.....

Thanks all

I'm not sure what site you're looking at, but all I see is basically a kick-off show to Carlisle at Cumberland Valley Motors in Mechanicsburg.  Starts at 4 until "?"

I don't see anything about a cruise until July 24th.

I'm at http://www.moparrebellion.com/KOC2011.htm

It sounds interesting but I know after 9 hours in the car . . . I will not be interested in a cruise.  I think getting settled into the hotel and some relaxing prior to the 6am show in the morning will be on my schedule.

Thats where I am looking too.....didnt see the 4pm..thanks.....the site doesnt load right on my machine.

You probably thought I meant cruise as in driving up and down the streets,.,.

I was using cruise as in "go in and park your ride, hang out and look at cars" kinda thing.

I spend most of the day friday and much saturday looking at parts/stuff (at least that is what happened last year) and i spend little time actually looking at all the cars.....figured I could at least check this show/cruise out.

Wondering though if there is an admission....I see "free" on the page but like I said the page loads very poorly for me so I dont know if its free admission or what....

Hmmm, I'm debating going myself...  But it's 4 now, I'm at least a half-hour away, and I've been driving around town all day.  I'm ready to crack a beer and chill out.  :)
