Have you ever smelled moth balls . How did you get their legs spread ?
I heard that joke at work! Laughed my butt off!
I think my car has had mice in the majority of places in the interior: behind the seats, under the seats, in the rear quarters, headliner, ate part of my build sheet....
Yes, the cowl area of my car was stuffed full of material from my rugs/seats. Bad enough such that the material held water and rusted holes in the cowl.
I tried Irish Spring and dryer sheets this past winter. I thought it worked but it did not.
Last year I tried moth balls and that seemed to work, at least at that time.
The way I know if it worked is that I also set glue boards in the car and see how many I catch. Although scented, I put a little bait, like peanut butter, set one on the passenger front floor, rear seat area and trunk. Caught 2 on the same board on the passenger front seat area so they might be more concetrated in the cowl area.
The little buggers can get into almost any area. All they need is a 1/2" hole.
Some people say charcoal works. I put a whole bag in the trunk. No mice caught back there, but they were in the front passenger seat area.
