I only had enough money to purchase a couple of new Nitto NT 555   245/45-ZR17 tires on my Bullit rims so I could see em in the wheel wells and to se how they clear the 11.7" rear discs. Looks great! I also used Ford truck 1/2-20 open ended lug nuts,( The phord dealership wanted 230.00 bucks for a set of 20 Mustang GT lugnuts,,NO WAY DUDE,, I used Andy Finkbeiners advice and used a set of Ford truck open ended radiused ended lugnuts,,some call them acorn or bulge seat) and had at least 16 turns until seated so there is plenty of thread engagement.(you need the diameter of the stud in length 1/2-20/= 10 turns)  it's sits a tad high but there is the fuel cell plus other equipment that will 'lower' it a tad when it's all done,, the ride height should be near perfect for my rough roads and numerous railroad tracks, potholes, ectt

After placing the wheels on, I realised the tires are side specific. (Right/Left), I switched em round. :bigsmile:(Typical Dodge truck guy, but I'm down to only 1 truck)

Thanks Chryco!  Still waiting for that 5-Speed!  I know you are hesitant about Keisler but they are releasing a 700 Ft. Lb. 5-Speed for MoPars this Fall,,, called the LGT SS 700,  all  USA  built by Liberty Gear&Trans. Havent heard much lately about the Passon unit. Last I researched it they were having porsosity problems with the case.  Eddie

Got the K-Memeber done, welded around the strut rod and lower control arm areas, skid plate added, welded around the seams, gussted the steering box mount and touched up many suspect areas with the Hobart. Then I painted it with John Deere Farm implement low gloss black. Next I gotta get the Milodon Pro-Touring oil pan and trial fit it to the K-member to check for clearance against the kick-outs on the oil pan.

But FYI  I seem to remember something in Hotchkis sway bar instrucions about having to cut off the skid plate to get the bigger sway bar in. Then weld it back on? :-\

Do you have it now to try and fish it through there? Mine doesn't have a skid plate so it was never an issue?

 gotta go back on my word a bit. I sold my deep sump truck pan and I ordered the Milodon Pro-Touring Oil pan and the 1/2" pic-up plus a new ray Barton/Fel-pro oil pan gasket which is a 1 piece, cork/rubber/ steel limiters, for only 16 bucks made for Ray by Fel-Pro. The Flat-Out rubber coated steel laminate gaskets both in .050 and .100 ,(B/RB/Hemi), thickness has been DISCONTINUED by Flat-Out according to the Flat-Out rep. I talked to. Plus Mancini Racing also confirmed this. The Milodon pan is now 400 bucks! so about 535.00 for everything! :faint:  Beats a new powerplant though! So broke it now hurts but my $9,000 stroker will be covered and protected! :biggrin:
